34 Weeks

Yay for another week closer to meeting Eliana!  34 weeks is exciting because her lungs are almost developed now and if something happened she'd likely be quite all right, which is wonderful.

Here's my pic...

I'm starting to feel quite awkward now and the whole fact that my belly kind of rests in my lap kind of drives me crazy but that's okay.  Only six (or so!) more weeks!

I had my last doctor's appointment here in my city today and everything is still looking good.  I did put on about 4.5 pounds since my last check-up, making up for what I didn't gain before and putting me at 22 total.  One thing I'm looking forward to in Turkey is getting measured again since I've not been measured since we left the US.  It will be interesting to see those results.

Everything else is going fine.  Sleep is not so great and my lower back is hurting more but I'm resting when I can and still working out so overall I'm feeling good.  I'm most just really excited about leaving in two weeks for Turkey.  I'm also excited about moving to our apartment and finally being able to get out all of Eliana's stuff and get it organized and ready. I also am going to try my hand at making a fitted sheet for her crib so I'll have something personalized for her room.  I'm ready to do some nesting!

Here's to another week down!

I just made two fitted sheets for Abigail's crib and it is a very quick project. I am not sure if you have a book/tutorial, but check out this tutorial... http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/tutorial-crib-and-toddler-bed-sheets.html

she does a great job and it is easy to follow. you look great and I am really excited for you to meet your sweet little girl :)
