Wubbanub

Today we got a really fun gift in the mail from our friends Ryan and Casey.  They just had twins back in October and they have a great baby tool they wanted to share with us.  It's called the Wubbanub and is a pacifier with a little stuffed animal attached to it that helps to prevent the pacifier from falling to the ground every time the baby loses it.  They love theirs and when they found out Eliana was on the way they wanted to get one for us.  It came today in the mail and was such a fun package.  Here's a pic...

Isn't it cute?  In my perfect world Eliana won't ever want or need a pacifier but in the event my perfect world isn't so perfect, I'm glad to have this as an option!  Thanks Ryan and Casey!  You guys are great!

I really wished we had one of those when Krew was newborn. I got tired of his paci always falling out of his mouth (and onto the floor, or under his butt, or between the couch cushions...)

I've seen those before, and they are really cute. They look pretty useful as well.

We never did give Celeste a pacifier (well, I think I attempted it once or twice and then just dropped it cause I didn't want to mess up anything), but I will say that I am giving one to Felicity this go around! I'll make sure she is breastfeeding fine first, but I remember how hard it was for me to be a human pacifier all the time!

However, you can totally make it without one! Celeste eventually learned to sooth herself by sucking on the side of her wrist at night. So cute.
