Almaty, Day 2

On Tuesday we took a trip on some cable cars to the top of a mountain at a place called Kok Tobe. We used Uber to get around and it was perfect! You order your car on your phone and pay using your credit card so no language was necessary and you don't have to worry about the taxi driver taking you a long way just to make money. Also, the ride ranged between $2.50 and $4.50 each so it was very economical. We were thankful!

It was a bit warm at the top of the mountain but it was still a nice time. They had rides and a small zoo and we ate lunch up there as well. We rode the Ferris wheel and enjoyed a beautiful view of the city. Another fun day!
