My friend, Michelle, decided it would be fun to do a little Jingle Bell 5k on Christmas Eve so she worked hard to find a place and get everything set up and official and we all met at 8am Christmas Eve morning and did our run. We ran at a park in the city that has a one-mile dirt/gravel loop. It was cold but not too bad. Eliana and Drew were cheering us on. It was a fun event and hopefully will become a tradition. Fun times!
Oh, and I think the coolest part is that two of the kids on our team, who are both 10, made it the whole 5k for the first time. Such awesome kids (along with their sweet parents who ran with them!)!
