Disney Day Three

Day three of our vacation had us at Hollywood Studios. We had such a great day at this park and I think it was our favorite. There were good rides for everyone, it wasn't too crowded and the weather hadn't gotten crazy hot yet.

Drew and I rode the Tower of Terror ride once and the Aerosmith roller coaster twice. It was one of the most fun roller coasters we have ever ridden. You start off the ride by going from zero to 60 in less than three minutes! Craziness! Plus with all the Aerosmith music playing while riding it was such a blast.

After those rides we did a Disney Jr. character breakfast. The food was awesome and we enjoyed seeing the characters. Eliana sat in our laps the whole time and kept her eyes on the characters. She did great talking to them from afar and waving and blowing kisses. There was no picture taking though!

With Eliana we were able to go see Mickey and Minnie and seeing Minnie was probably my favorite memory of the whole trip. Eliana was still very nervous about seeing the characters and we'd seen Mickey from afar but had to go into a room to see Minnie. So we got in line and talked to her about what would happen and encouraged her to talk to Minnie about her birthday party. So, when we got in the room Eliana got near Minnie and blurted out as quickly as possible, "Minnie Mouse I had a Minnie Mouse cake for my birthday!" It was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen and heard in my whole life. We were so proud of her for overcoming her fear. Being a mom is so cool!

We also took the kids on a Toy Story ride and to a Disney Jr. show. Eliana loved the show and it was so fun seeing her dance and sing to the songs and she loved seeing all the characters as puppets in the show. We also took her to the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" play area and she did so well in it also. She climbed and slid and played like such a big girl.

We ended the day by watching the "Beauty and the Beast" musical. It was really well done and a lot of fun to watch. A great ending to a great day!
