Disney Day Six

We ended our week at Disney with a trip to Animal Kingdom. This park was way cooler than I had expected. The zoo aspect was way bigger and more impressive than I anticipated and we really had a great time.

We started off the morning with the safari ride. We rode in a large truck with lots of people and we got to go around and see lots of cool animals- giraffes, antelope, rhinos, and more. Definitely worth the ride!

This is an "upside down" tree. Pretty cool!

 Huge termite mound

Seth found the ride to be extremely interesting!

After the safari we took a walk around their Africa area and go to see lots more cool animals on our own.

If you look closely you can see a hippo under the water. We got to see him come up out of the water, while sleeping, take a breath and then float back down. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen!

After this Drew, Uncle Matt, Noah and I rode Expedition Everest. This roller coaster was really fun because it actually went frontwards, backwards and then frontwards again. We were totally surprised and Drew and I rode in the front, making it even more fun. Unfortunately Uncle Matt got sick so if you are prone to motion sickness maybe skip this one!

Drew and I are in the front of this one.

After a lunch break we explored the Asia zoo area. We got to see a totally cool Kimodo Dragon, some ridiculously huge bats and some beautiful tigers. Eliana was sleeping the whole time but Drew and I enjoyed it!

We ended our day with a showing of "Finding Nemo" the musical. It was so cool! The music was okay but the puppets and effects were awesome. It was a great end to our trip.

What a wonderful vacation! We definitely could have stayed longer but alas, all vacations much come to an end. We hope to go back next time we are in the US and know it will be a whole different experience as Eliana will be a lot older. Thanks Mo and Papa for making this trip happen! We will always have great memories!
