Christmas!

Christmas was a fun and relaxing day around our house!  We got up in the morning and spent time here and then went out to lunch at a nice restaurant with some friends, came back for Eliana's nap and then spent the evening at a friend's house.  Eliana enjoyed opening her presents and we had fun seeing how much she enjoyed them.  We sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus and enjoyed celebrating His gift to us.  Thankful for a fun day!

Checking out her new "packback"

Eliana with her three gifts- backpack, flashlight and gloves

Eliana (and maybe Daddy too) made me this cool picture and frame.  She (and maybe me too) made Daddy a pumpkin pie, but we forgot to take a picture.

Cute decorations

Our friend on the right is from Scotland and they have a tradition where they give these gifts called "Christmas Crackers" and along with a little gift there are crowns to wear.  We all quickly put on our crowns not realizing that it made our friend so happy.  That felt like Christmas to her and it was fun for us so it was a winner all around!

I'll leave you with the cutest crown-wearer around!
