Thursday afternoon Eliana and I went down to the restaurant below us and had "special snacks" after her nap. I let her pick out whatever she wanted from the counter and we sat outside and enjoyed a little something special. She picked out two small chocolate cookies (which I'm pretty sure they ended up giving us for free) and I picked a really yummy doughnut.
Now, for most of you going out and buying a yummy doughnut is no problem. However, here this is the first time I've ever seen anything that looked worth buying and wasn't over $2 a pop. It actually ended up being around $.60 and was great! Chocolate on top, light and fluffy dough...very nice! Now, it wasn't a Krispy Kreme but for what we have available, I was pleased!
So, here's to fun finds and fun afternoons with the little one!

After eating we rode this bus and walked to a grocery store. Eliana walked without help on this ledge and that is the first time she's done that. She is growing up so fast!

Isn't it fun that as they get older you can "hang out" with them? I love the age of my boys right now. We can go do stuff together and they can hold a conversation and I just love it. That donut looked good!
