Today we got out and had a little adventure. Our plan was to go out to this valley and go for a little hike in the mountains. Well, our navigator made a slight wrong turn and we ended up driving up a fairly precarious mountain road with goats, sheep and donkeys before we decided we were going the wrong way and turned around and went back. We ended up finding where we were supposed to go but at that point it was too late to go hiking so we just stopped along the river, set up a nice tarp lean-to and had a delicious picnic. It was drizzly and cold at first but warmed up a bit and everyone had a great time. The best part is now Drew's parents can truly appreciate what we are talking about when we tell them we are driving on the roads here. Nothing like first-hand experience to make things real!
