Fortress

Yesterday we went with some friends to an old fortress about 30 minutes outside the city.  The fortress was actually completely in tact until 1924 when the Soviets came and destroyed everything except the entrance gate.  Over the past couple of years they have worked to refurbish the wall surrounding the gate and make it look a little like what it looked like 90 years ago.  We spent time walking around, gazing at the camel and then went to a little museum across the street.  It was a beautiful day and I do believe fun times were had by all!
