Central Asian Eyebrows

In Central Asia it's pretty traditional for women to paint on thick, black unibrows.  I've never done this and didn't know how they did it but found out last night.  In the spring and summer they mash up some green leaves and add some water and it makes a paste that you paint on and it dries black.  The girls at the house did my eyebrows last night but they spared me the unibrow.  See for yourself...

It washes off really easily and it was gone by bedtime but it was still fun.  Another thing I can say I've now done!

On another note, this was the first time the daughter in the picture had smiled at me in over a week so that was another little victory.  Being 14 is emotional!
