15 Weeks, Snow and Christmas on Campus

15 weeks has begun with me feeling the worst I have this whole pregnancy and it has nothing to do with the baby!  I’ve come down with a terrible cold and have just felt awful.  The fact that I can’t use my favorite cold remedies doesn’t help either, but I’m doctoring it as best as I can and hoping to heal soon.

Here’s the 15 week shot…

I’m still quite small but think I can tell that my bump is growing.  I think the combination first baby/tall body to fill out is making the transformation take longer.  I’m still wearing all my regular clothes and haven’t gained much weight at all, which is fine with me.  I have another appointment on Monday and hope to hear that everything is going well.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before but my face has been really broken out and dry, mainly on my right cheek.  It’s so weird and not something I expected.  I thought pregnancy was supposed to be the time for glowing, perfect skin, not teenager, puberty skin!  Oh well, the baby is worth it, it’s just annoying!
I learned that between now and 20 weeks the baby grows from about four inches to about ten inches so I’m thinking I’ll start to notice more of a bump soon.  We’ll see!

We also had a light snow this morning and they've put up some nice Christmas decorations around campus.  I took some pictures for you to see.  The snow was just a light dusting, but beautiful nonetheless.

Yep, I'm one of those who gets terrible teenage skin when I'm pregnant, so I can relate. Praying that your cold subsides quickly and that the visit tomorrow goes well!
