So Drew was recently able to buy a machine for his classroom that prints 3D parts out of plastic. In other words, you design a part on the computer and then the machine prints it-anything from blocks, to whistles, to screws, you name it. It's really cool and has been a lot of work to get working but he, along with his techie friend Josh, have been able to get it working really well.
He had an open house tonight and wanted something that could be made fairly quickly that he could give to the students. This is what he came up with.... (the dollar bill is for perspective)
Pretty awesome, huh? Yep, he did that all on his own! The kids and parents will love it. Too bad he's not going to be there next year to make them with them! :-)
