My First Four Blocks
I think writing about my quilt helped me get on the ball because since I wrote I've cut my strips and sewed four blocks! I'm pleased with how they're turning out and each one looks a little better than the last. It's going to take me awhile to do this though...it's NOT a fast process!

Quiliting is such tedious work but so rewarding when it starts to take form-- it already looks beautiful!! Can't wait to see it finished... you may have inspired me to start a new one sometime soon!
I agree with the tedious part but it is rewarding in the end. The more you do the more you want to do too so that's the good part about getting started. I went to bed last night thinking about what it will look like when it comes together. Fun stuff!
It't beginning to look a lot like Chritmas! The quilt is looking so good already. :) When you get really fast at making them one day, you will have to make me one (or maybe literally just one square!).
Maybe someday when we're old and in a home together we can make lots of quilts!:-)
