Gracious Child

A few weeks ago Eliana got it in her head that I should make her a dress for one of her dolls that had no clothes. Well, making doll clothes is quite far away from my idea of fun but she really, really wanted me to do it so I gave it a shot. I looked on the Internet for ideas on how to make a simple dress and we did it together. It turned out pretty terribly, but it fits and she is happy. My first try ended up way too small and with the head hole sewed shut! The second time turned out much better and thankfully Eliana is a gracious child and didn't expect perfection.

She wants me to complete a whole wardrobe for the doll...we'll see!
