Well, Jadon turned five months old a week ago! I figure if I'm late for each month then it all works out, right? Jadon is growing and changing and becoming such a fun part of our family! He definitely enjoys hanging out with us and has started to cry when we lay him down to sleep. He likes to sit in the Bumbo or bouncy seat during dinner and really enjoys the exercauser. He still isn't rolling over or even really using his arms to hold his head and body up when he's on his stomach. He's getting more and more into it, but isn't there yet. He loves standing and loves to sit in your lap and look around. I also turned him forward in the carrier and he really likes that.
Jadon is doing a great job "talking" to us and he has the sweetest laugh. He's recently discovered he can cough and he's been making coughing noises a lot lately. He can grab small items now and pass them back and forth. He likes holding his bunny when he sleeps and I think that helped him make the transition from being swaddled. He did great with that! We had no night time issues and I was so thankful! Another milestone in the books!
We're still only nursing. He eats 6-7 times a day depending on how early he wakes up and how fussy he is. He's been sleeping from about 10 to 5:30, sometimes more and sometimes less. He is still on a schedule during the day of a short nap in the early morning, two longer naps during the day and one late evening cat nap. I don't know how much he weighs but he seems to be growing well.
