The highlight of Wednesday was our kayaking trip! we rented a kayak at the state park and paddled for two hours on the intercoastal waterway. We paddled out to a little inlet and played in the water for awhile looking at the fish and crabs. Then on the way back we were surprised by the appearance of three dolphins! It was just the coolest thing! We didn't take any pictures but the memories are in our heads!
That night Drew and Eliana had some time together and they went fishing again. They had a great time and caught a few sharks. Drew has a cast net for catching bait fish and when he would catch fish in the net he would give them to Eliana and she would take them and put them in a bucket. Brave girl!
We ended our time Thursday with Britt's donuts (a Carolina Beach staple!) and one more morning on the beach. A great end to a great trip! We'll see you again in three years Carolina Beach!
