Now that it's warming up we are on the lookout for fun things to do outside. Last week we went to Farm Animal Days at NC State. I had heard about this in the past but since we've never lived here with a child I had never been.
The three of us went together last Wednesday and it was a fun event. There were more people than I expected but Eliana really enjoyed seeing all the animals, the weather was awesome and we got to have free NC State ice cream. You can't argue with that!
After we finished at the farm we decided to head over to Pullen Park since we aren't often on that side of town. We knew they had renovated since we have been away and man, it is awesome! We couldn't believe how different and nice it is now. We rode the "choo-choo train", carousel, had hotdogs for lunch and played on the playground. Definitely a fun day with my family!
