For Drew's birthday back in August I bought him tickets to see a show here in Durham. The day finally arrived last week and we had a great night out! We went out to eat at Longhorn (thanks to his parents for a giftcard!) and then went to the DPAC and watched "Alton Brown Live". Alton Brown is one of our our favorite food network chefs and when I heard he was going on tour I thought it sounded like just the thing for us. Turns out, it was! It was kind of like a food-themed variety show and we had a great time!
We are thankful for the chance to do fun things together while we are here!
