This is the second year we are using "Truth in the Tinsel" for our Advent devotions. Each night has either an ornament you can make or one you can print and color, along with scripture and a reading. Because I don't think either Eliana or I are ready for that many crafts, we are doing the coloring activity and she is doing really well this year. It's fun to see her start to focus some and put a little thought into it. She is currently leaning towards black, red and orange for her colors but adds a little variety at times as well. I also think she is slowly starting to understand a little more about the story of Jesus' birth and it's fun sharing this with her now that she is a little bit older. I'm sure next year will be even more fun!
