Keeping your shoes clean here is really quite important and with the dustiness of the city, especially after 3 months of no rain, there are no shortages of opportunities to clean your shoes. A couple of days ago Eliana asked to put on her shoes and I told her no, that we needed to wait until it was time to leave because they were really dusty. The next thing I know, she has gone to the bathroom, gotten the wipes and is sitting on the couch cleaning her shoes! She saw me do this same things a couple of days before that so I wasn't surprised at all. That, coupled with a strong desire to be outside, fueled the cleaning process. It made me laugh and shake my head at the same time! Crazy girl!
