Slowly, Slowly

Or as we say in Tajik, "Ohista, Ohista" Eliana is starting to enjoy coloring, and other short activities that we've been working on for a long time.  It's so fun to see her finally get interested.  Obviously I've never had a child before but according to what I've read and seen she's a little later than others developing this desire so it's just been encouraging to me.  I'm looking forward to what other new things she is going to start liking.  This is a really fun phase of parenting (minus the tantrums of course!).  

Oh, and no, I did not save this piece of "art" and no, I won't take a picture of everything she "draws" but since it is one of the first I wanted to document it.  :-)
