Today we took advantage of having a car (some of our teammates are in the US so we have their car) and went on a road trip! Except for a short trip to a village last Sunday I've not been out of the city since we got back here in January plus we heard about a new "resort" that has been built about an hour outside of town so we decided to hit the road.
It was a beautiful day and perfect for exploring, which was good since that is exactly what we did. We never found how to get to the resort and since their phone wasn't working/not turned on we weren't able to get help from them. Some really nice guys helped us get to where we think was a possible option for getting there but it didn't work. It's okay though, we still had fun and were able to get out and have a nice picnic on the way back. We had a beautiful view of the mountains, a shade tree, enough flat ground to sit on and were far enough away from the road that it wasn't too noisy. So thankful for a fun day with my family!

And finally, this is how her hair looked by the time we got back home! :-)
