Eliana's First Egg Hunt

Well, Eliana did technically hunt for some eggs at a friend's house once before this but really, Saturday was her first egg hunt.  A bunch of us foreigners got together and had a hunt for the kids and it was really fun.  Eliana enjoyed finding her six eggs and then was so excited to find candy in each egg.  After each one she would exclaim, "Wow!" and then proceed to take of the wrapper and begin enjoying her treats.  It was really fun to be there with her and see her enjoying the experience.

Afterwards we had a picnic and hung out and talked and then had a Good Friday service with a group of people where they had childcare so we were actually able to sit and listen without interruption.  It was so nice!  I'm thankful for the community we have here.  It is a blessing to have friends and homey things to do when so far away.

Enjoy some pictures of the hunt!

(Oh yeah, don't look for any pictures from Easter day because I forgot to take any!  We usually have an outdoor service on the top of a hill but it was raining so we had it inside and I totally forgot. Oops!)
