Sunday Eliana and I took Daddy to the park we went to a few weeks ago. It was a great evening to get out and enjoy the spring weather. Eliana enjoyed the rides again and we even got adventurous and ate at one of the outdoor "cafes" there. We had shashlik (kabobs), salad and bread and even though it wasn't the greatest food we've eaten here, it was fun to be adventurous and try something new.
The camera battery died while we were there so not many pictures, but here are a few of sweet girl riding one of the rides...

Please note that once again, kitty enjoyed her own airplane ride.
Love those big, beautiful, brown eyes!
And finally, at the risk of exposing myself as a neglectful and risk-taking parent, here is a video of the ride that I took Eliana on the last time we went. Please note I did not think it would go so fast and crazy and when I got on other young children were also getting on so I thought it would be fine. The moral of the story is to always watch the big rides before you go on them. We were fine though and she did great. I just held on to her tightly and sang "Jesus Loves Me" over and over, while praying we'd be safe and thinking "I sure am glad her grandparents don't know what we're doing!" You live and you learn, right?!

Looks fun! The rides here aren't even open yet...I keep hoping maybe in April...
Lol!!! :) It's okay, Leslie...no harm done. At least she didn't scream her head off the whole time or anything. OR if she did, you did a good thing to sing to her the whole time...oh well. ;-)
