After our depressing trip to the zoo last week I wanted to try to find something more fun to do this week. So we went to a little park that is across the street from the zoo. I saw on the sign something about it being for children and there's an old ferris wheel you can see from the road that I've been a hundred times since we've been here and we've never gone so I figured yesterday was as good a time as any!
Let's just say this out was WAY more fun than the zoo. They had lots of little kid rides for Eliana, cheap popcorn and even fun rides I could go on with her. The best part is that everything was around $.20 each! We did our whole morning for less than $3 and it was fun! I will admit I ended up taking Eliana on a ride that was way to fast and scary for her but with some "Jesus Loves Me" she did great. I also enjoyed finally get to ride that old ferris wheel (just remember most things here were built during communism and haven't been upgraded since). The best part was that the guy doesn't even stop it to let people on and off. You just have to jump! Oh the interesting experiences we get to have living in Central Asia!
Oh yeah, I also have to mention that we have had such a mild winter! Last year there is no way we could have been out and about like this. I feel sooo blessed!
