Projects

Now that my babysitter is back I can have some time to get some other things done besides play with Eliana.  Today I took advantage of the extra time to finish two projects- a stocking for Eliana and a cover for our dryer.

I'm quite proud of the stocking.  It could have been a bit bigger but I think it's pretty cute and she loves Cookie Monster right now so it's perfect.  I need something to write her name with but other than that, it's done!  I used this site for instructions for the cuff.  I did the stocking on my own.  Definitely a fast, easy project.

Second, I made a cover for our dryer!  Since we have to keep the dryer in the living room I wanted to cover it so it's not so obvious what it is.  I got some really cool fabric over a year ago that I hadn't used yet so I used it, got some spacial advice from Drew and just did it.  No tutorials used or made (I'm not that good) and it's certainly not perfect but I think it turned out well.  I am pleased!  Now I feel like I have a big present in my room all the time!

It's hard to tell but there is green in the fabric.  I still have a lot left.  Now I just need another project!
