December Cooking Club

We had our second cooking club get-together today.  Today the Tajik girls taught us how to make sambosas (food-filled pastry) with pumpkin (shredded pumpkin, onions, salt and cumin) and with greens (spinach, beet root leaves, dill, cilantro, lettuce, salt and onions) and a cookie bar with jam.  Everything was so delicious!  Unfortunately most of their recipes call for "a little of this and a little of that" so I don't think a lot of replication will happen any time soon, but I still learned something and we had a good time hanging out together again.  I am thankful for these ladies!
