Eidi Korbon

Yesterday was another big holiday here in our country.  70 days after Eidi Ramazon our people celebrate Eidi Korbon, which is a remembrance of when God tested Abraham and told him to sacrifice his son.  Many people will sacrifice an animal and then they make soup and have lots of other food and entertain guests all day.  We had the privilege to go to the houses of three of our office co-workers.  It was a long day filled with lots of food, but it was fun and a blessing to be able to go our their houses and share this holiday with him.  Our friends were extremely honored to have Drew's parents in their homes so it was a special opportunity for us.  Drew's parents did awesome too and they can officially say they've had a real Tajik experience while being here.  They've see it all!
