Women's Retreat

Drew blessed me this weekend by letting me go to a women's retreat with some other ex-pat believing ladies here in the city.  It was put on by a group of ladies I didn't know but was invited and thought it would be a good chance for me to get away and have some quiet time and get to know some new people.  It was all of those things and more!  Most of all, God used this time to help me see some sin and my life and give me the chance to confess and repent and seek Him.  I'm so thankful for His kindness to me to show me where I need Him more and am lacking.  It was hard, but it was good and I am thankful.

I also had fun relaxing in the cooler mountain air, meeting new people, eating good food, learning a new craft and having good time in the Word.  I'm so thankful these ladies made the effort to do this for us and to invite me to participate.  It was a blessing!
