So, as you've probably noticed there aren't a lot of crazy, fun activities to do around here. Well, we've been hearing rumors for quite some time now that a new water park was being built. One of our friends made it her mission this week to find out where it was and how we could participate and I'm so thankful she did! We went today and it was awesome! We all totally felt like we were in America. They were even playing American music over the PA system. It was so wild! We felt like we were in a time warp or something.
Everything was so nice. We all got RFID bracelets that unlocked our lockers and that we could load money on and then use it for purchasing food. The workers were well-trained and very good at helping people on the slides, keeping everyone safe and even keeping people from rough-housing in the pool. Like I said...amazing!
The park has five large slides for adults, a large area for children with smaller slides and a large pool. All the water was blue and clean and chlorinated! There was a big temporary fence up that we suspect may be the site of a wave pool. We'll see!
Because it was the weekend it was about $15 a person (expensive for here but not too bad) but during the week is more like $11. That got us 4 hours in the park. They were going to charge us $10 for Eliana but when they found out she doesn't walk (one advantage of her fear of walking!) they let her go for free so I was very thankful.
So yeah, this was an awesome afternoon and we are so excited for this new attraction in our city. Now we just have to hope it stays in business!

The five adult slides
The children's area is to the right and the main pool on the left.
We went down all the slides and they were all fun. The one in the middle was even scary...which we loved. Not quite White Water, but still lots of fun!

And of course, every post is better with a picture of cuteness!
