Idi Ramazon Highlights

The end of Ramadan (called Ramazon here) was last Sunday.  We were hoping to visit several friends but between Drew being sick and people not being home we didn't get as much done as we'd hoped.  Drew was able to give candy out to the kids though (they come by early in the morning asking for candy) and we went to our Tajik family's house.  We always enjoy visiting them and it was good to see all the new babies around their place.

Here are a few shots of our holiday...

We bought close to five pounds of candy and almost all was given out.  The candy on the right is a local chocolate bar that is a lot like a Snickers.  Yummy!

The spread at our family's house...they also brought us bowls of soup.

I'm sad we didn't get to do as much as we'd hoped but it just makes me more motivated to get out and see people on a regular basis.  We'll also look forward to the next holiday and the chance to celebrate with our friends!
