We went to a party today! One of our coworker's daughters had her first birthday this week and we went to celebrate today. First birthdays are a big deal here so I was excited to be able to go to the party, especially since Eliana's is coming up in only six short weeks!
They had fun decorations, games for the kids, delicious food and even a clown! Drew even got in on the fun and fished for candy in a bowl of flour (after several other people had already tried)! I was thankful we stopped that game before I was asked to do it.
We had a really nice time and I was thankful for the chance to hang out with some of our friends. I don't think we'll invite the clown (Eliana was a little bit afraid of her) but it got me even more excited about Eliana's big day in May!
