Eliana is doing well and I'm thankful she had adjusted easily to our new home and the new time zone. She has been a bit fussy with gas the past couple of days but other than that is doing great. We're going strong with the three-hour routine and are starting to work on extending that at night. We try to have awake time after her daytime feedings and sometimes she stays awake for an hour, some of it interacting with us and some just laying on her bed. Other times she's really tired and goes to sleep after only 15 minutes or so of playing. She doesn't love tummy time but can briefly raise up her head when she gets motivated. We are working on getting her to focus on our faces and on bright objects. She also has started making a few noises other than crying, which is very exciting. Yesterday she supported herself on her legs for little bit for the first time, which was fun. It's amazing how the little things excited you at this point! We also started using cloth diapers today so we'll see how that goes.
Our friends here have loved meeting her and she got her first Tajik gift from a worker at our office when he put a little money in her blanket. It was really sweet.
We are going to try to take her to the doctor for her one-month check-up tomorrow.
We love our little lady and can't wait to see what the next month holds!
Here are some pics with her stuffed dog given by Grandpa and Grandma...
So sleepy!
Those cloth diapers add some heft to her lower parts!
I love that face!
