Bosphorus Cruise

Today we took an all-day outing and went on a cruise up the Bosphorus to the Black Sea.  It was a 1.5 hour trip up there and then we had three hours to hang out and eat and take a long walk up a crazy steep mountain to an old castle.  The castle wasn't open due to repairs but the view from the top was amazing!  We then headed back on the same boat.  It was a wonderful day and everyone had a lot of fun.  Eliana was great too, despite the fact that we forgot her pacifier and had to adjust her eating schedule to keep her happy.  She really is a great baby.


Great day with great people!  I'm so thankful we were able to do this with our families.  Drew and I had planned to do this before Eliana came and actually were going to go on the Monday she was born but when I woke up with what I thought were contractions we decided to hang out at home, which obviously turned out to be a good decision!  Then when we went today that was further confirmed as that walk would have not been fun at almost 39 weeks pregnant.  Today was much more pleasant!
