2 Weeks

Our baby girl is 2 weeks old today!  She is growing and changing and doing great.  We continue to be amazed by this gift God has given us.  She's pretty awesome!

Eliana is on a three-hour schedule day and night right now for eating and sleeping.  I think she had her first growth spurt a couple of days ago and she was eating more often than that and much more fussy.  I'm thankful that is over!  She generally only cries when she's hungry or gassy.  She has some longer periods of alertness during the day and will just lay there looking around, sometimes for up to an hour.  She loves being swaddled and likes her pacifier during her alert time but spits it out when she falls asleep.  She goes to sleep quickly and easily at night unless she has gas.  Drew is in charge of her during these times and he's been awesome.  I'm so thankful for him and can't imagine doing this alone!  I love watching her face and seeing her expressions.  She makes me melt and I just want to kiss her all day long!


So yeah, things are going well and we are adjusting each day to having a baby around.  It's pretty crazy!
