Date Night

Friday night Drew and I were able to go out on a date night. We hadn't been out together in awhile so it was really nice. We went to the Italian restaurant in the city (yes I did say "the" Italian restaurant) and had a wonderful meal. It is a really nice place and the food was delicious and cheap. We got two entrees, bread and water, both of which you have to pay for here, and it was only $15! It would've have probably cost $50 in the US. We were quite pleased. There were lots of foreigners there so we know where to go if we need to see other English-speakers.

We then walked around for a little while enjoying the awesome weather. It had rained earlier and was in the low 70s! We went to the most famous park in the city and checked it out. We were surprised with how nice it was and with how many people were there hanging out.On the way home we dropped by the store next door and got some ice cream and it turned out to be some of the best ice cream we've ever had. It was from Turkey and it was awesome! We ate some while watching a favorite movie of mine, "Home Alone." It's never too early for a little Christmas!

So yeah, it was a nice night of relaxing and hanging out. We are so thankful for places like this restaurant to go and eat at and have a nice out. We really weren't expecting it and so it's a nice bonus to living life here. Enjoy some pictures of our evening!
