My 29th birthday was Wednesday and Drew treated me to a wonderful day of surprises and fun! First thing in the morning he brought me biscuits and gravy along with an Iced Mocha from McDonalds. He gave me my gift too- a Dallas Cowboys visor- something I'd really been wanting! Then he actually had flowers delivered to me at work! This is the first time in our entire relationship he's had flowers delivered to me so it was a big deal. He thinks it's a waste of money and that he can get just as nice flowers on his own so I was really impressed and thankful for his thoughtful gesture.
For dinner we went to one of my favorite restaurants, On the Border. We splurged and got the dip sampler, I got some yummy avacado and chile pesto enchiladas and I got the birthday dessert- kahlua ice cream pie! (It's actually supposed to be the brownie sundae but I don't like nuts in my brownies so we switched.) The waiters sang to me and told the restaurant it was my Sweet 16. I didn't argue!:-) The pie was awesome! Drew ate a little of it and I ate all the rest. Delicious!
Afterwards Drew went with me to the mall and let me try on some clothes and then we went driving around to explore our new neighborhood. It was a wonderful day and I'm so thankful for my hubby. He treats me wonderfully! My parents are coming today to celebrate and we're going to Drew's parents tomorrow so the party has not finished. Woo-hoo! I love my birthday!

Great pictures of a great day! And your hair is shorter. When did that happen? I thought it looked like it in the visor photo, but couldn't tell for sure. Cute as always. :)

Yeah, I cut it again a couple of weeks ago. I really like it- Drew's getting used to it as it grows out.:-)
