To celebrate our anniversary we went to The Melting Pot on Saturday night. We'd never been and were looking forward to the experience. We decided to just do the cheese and dessert fondue in order to get the best value for our money. (Even when celebrating we're frugal!) Well, we enjoyed the food but didn't think it was worth the money. Everything was delicious but we could've gotten a lot more food for $31 somewhere else. Plus, when I asked for extra dippers for the chocolate fondue because we were out and there was more chocolate left, they wouldn't give me any. Are you serious? How much could one more marshmellow or tiny piece of pound cake cost? And that delicious chocolate went to waste! That really disappointed me. So, despite the delicious cheese and chocolate, we'll proabably not eat there again. I'm glad we went though. It was a fun experience and in case you didn't understand- the chocolate was awesome!.
I also got my hair chopped off on Saturday. It had been driving me crazy and I wanted something different. So I went to my stylist- Matt, at Salon Blu- and told him to do something different and he did! I really like the cut and Drew does too even though he wasn't thrilled about me getting it cut. I love having a stylist who I can trust! He's a little pricey, but I don't go often so it's worth it to me.
Okay, here are the pics of our weekend adventures, minus the cheese course because I forgot!

I think you pay more for the romantic fancy setting at the melting pot and the new hair style looks great. You are welcome to borrow our fondue pot anytime.
Thanks! I'll let you know when we want to use the pot!:-)
Ooooh I like the hair, Leslie!! I think it looks very good on you. :)
I've been wanting to try the Melting Pot for a long time. But...just like you...I don't want to spend the money on it (and neither does Dave).
What anniversary year was it? Our first is coming up. :)
Thanks Kara! It was our 6th anniversary. I can't believe I forgot that part!:-)
